So this is one of the things I have been working on...This is a dress that is made from a pillowcase. Yes..another pillowcase creation. I got the set of 2 pillowcases at the thrift shop for 1.99 and some ribbon that I also got at the thrift shop the pink ribbon for the straps and along the bottom which was only .99cents! The pillowcase at the bottom has embrodery at the bottom although I am not sure that you can see it in the picture. Overall I think it turned out pretty darn cute and it was fun.

Spots..Spots..and more spots. So a week ago, I took Reece to the Doctor cause he just didn't seem to be feeling well. Took him to the doctor and he had a sinus infection, so the doctor put him on amoxacillin.... no big so we thought. So a few days go by and he just wouldn't eat..more so his bottle than anything and very clinging, So Friday I woke up to feed him, he was all smiles and he had about 5 red spots on his little face almost like a bug bite. So I continued to look him over...his neck was covered in one enormous spot, a few on his hands and as I unzipped his jammies his whole body was covered in this nasty looking rash sort of thing, I took these pictures but for whatever reason I don't think that the camera wanted to look at them either. So I waited until 8oclock and called the doctor yet again, the receptionist told me she could get us in at 10:15. GREAT! So I scrambled around and off we were. The doctor looked at him and said well the good news is he doesn't have a sinus infection anymore. At this point we had a day and a half of antibiotic left and he said to go ahead and discontinue it. The bad news is he has had an allergic reaction to the penicillin...So Benadryl it is until it clears up... then he should start eating well again. We woke up this morning to NO HIVES!! Yippee! Poor little man was just awful looking. So no medication with penicillin in it, they want to reintroduce when he is about 6 because I guess you can out grow it, but they will send us to a special clinic to try it out while we are there.

So I have been working on a few projects and having a lot of fun doing it. This is a skirt that I made for Kaetlynn out of a pillowcase..I got the pillowcase at the thrift store for 1.50! It isn't perfect and I am still learning but I thought that it actually turned out pretty cute.
As Reece gets more and more independent he likes to try and feed himself, this one particular night I was feeding him baby spaghetti and he was having a good time other than the fact that he would grab the spoon. He is also teething and he wants something hard to chew on so I decided to give him a pickle....yes a pickle and he loved chewing on and ended up eating the soft part. This kid is sure not a picky eater, he eats anything! and usually will not make a face.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
We sat over at the college and had a great view!

So I officially decided my kids are really funny. We went to the fireworks show and while waiting my kids were cracking up me up.
This was a head stand that went wrong.

This I made for one of nephews for his birthday, it was fun and easy. Although I can't take credit for the idea.
I just thought that this was a great picture of some flowers!I love being outdoors!
So I got a couple of the pics in the wrong spot but I have been working on some fun cute crafts and this is one...a baby block, I thought it turned out pretty cute.
We have also been watching the demolition of the old school! Crazy how they knock things down in steps.
We had the opportunity about a week ago to take care of our friends chickens..What a blast that was for the kids and what an experience we had. We learned so much! These chickens love attention! We didn't realize how many different things that chickens eat, including egg shells! Who would have guessed.

The first day that we checked on the chickens they had laid a dozen eggs! The next day they had only laid 5...the kids were so disappointed . There is however a black chicken in the picture above, she lays blue and green eggs! They are so neat and they taste the same.

Leah is giving the eye....TROUBLE is what it looks like to me.

My nieces and nephews came in June and we had a really great time! This is a picture of all the cousins together, we couldn't get them to stand any closer I think they thought that they all had cooties or something.
Little Reece wearing Uncle Greg's hat.
So when the weather decided to get warm for a few days in June I decided to try my culinary skills and BBQing ribs. I had never done it but it was a big thing to have ribs growing up. Almost every weekend my dad would BBQ ribs and fresh oysters...I totally could have done without those nasty, slimy oysters. Anyway I BBQ them slow and they turned out really yummy! Yeah for me!
So the infamous bird house....slowly....the squirrels tore it apart, they slowly ate the hole bigger, then they tore the roof off, after trying to save Dylan's poor birdhouse by hammering it back together...this weekend it found it on the grass all to pieces...darn little squirrels, we will have to get something a little more sturdy. It was fun while lasted.
