We had the opportunity about a week ago to take care of our friends chickens..What a blast that was for the kids and what an experience we had. We learned so much! These chickens love attention! We didn't realize how many different things that chickens eat, including egg shells! Who would have guessed.
The first day that we checked on the chickens they had laid a dozen eggs! The next day they had only laid 5...the kids were so
disappointed . There is however a black chicken in the picture above, she lays blue and green eggs! They are so neat and they taste the same.
