This last week...My Aunt and Uncle came for a visit. I have not seen them since my mom passed..a little over a year ago..We had such a wonderful visit. I took the kids out of school for a day and we headed to the zoo, they had a few different attractions which was kinda nice. It was also I think very healing for the kids as we have all had a hard time hear and there with the passing of my mom I think because it was so sudden and we didn't have time to really prepare. It was hard for me to see them go back home but it was so wonderful to create new memories. I think of my Aunt as my mom. I am so grateful for all the her and my Uncle have done. Thank you Auntie for creating "new memories" for my family. We love you!

This was so hilarious..it will lose some in the telling I am sure, it was one of those things where you had to be there...So the goose..was just sitting there and Dylan was running up to it, I quickly pulled out my camera, I thought that he was just trying to get close to it and I said Dylan turn around so that I can take a picture..well the goose had started to hiss when he turned around his face was red and he was screaming..ahhhhhh! We were cracking up so hard, he thought that it was a statue..not real. oh it was real all right, then Brian and Kaetlynn convinced him to go back for a picture.
We saw this goose actually lay an egg and then turn the eggs and cover them..pretty amazing.

Easter was good...we had an easter egg hunt at our church on Saturday,the kids had a great time finding easter eggs and there was good food before that. We woke up on Sunday and had our own easter egg hunt followed by church and a big ol' nap..oh yeah that is what i am talkin about. Had dinner and invited a friend over. Then it was followed by that night with randy just not feeling well..so bad that he actually agreed to go to the doctor..he hates doctors, so when he actually agrees to go to the emergency room you know that he is really not feeling well...well..he ended up with a sinus infection.

oops..out of order again, oh well. So I thought that this tree was a crazy looking tree and really kinda liked it so that is why I took a picture of it.
This was the same day we went to see the new chickens..pretty cute pic.
Here is Kate trying to get the chickens to come out of the coup..poor chickens were probably scared half to death with 5 children so close to them.
Reece was just venturing out on his own here and loving the outdoors.

So I have a friend who raises chickens..well oh probably 3 months ago or so an unidentified animal got into the coup and well...no more chickens. She recently got 12 new baby chickens, baby chickens are so cute my kids were holding them but I had failed to take my camera well here we are about a month later and they are all grown up!! My kids could not believe how big they were.

Dylan had a school program..kinda late in the year but it was really cute he did a great job! Way to go buddy! He looks so very handsome if I don't say so myself.

Well...this is what you get when you add an 18month old with powdered sugar and leave them unattended:) It was so funny I just stood there and looked at him until I busted up laughing.

Okay so I hate when I am not thinking and put the pics out of order. Kaetlynn decided that she wanted to make a quilt..not sure if i am the best teacher but we gave it a whirl and it is so far so good.

I am so proud of her to want to try and do this!
My brother and his family came down for Leah's Birthday and we had a really great visit.

"Papa" came over for Leah's birthday and it is always a joy to see him.

This little boy sure has been such a blessing to add to our family, he really just makes me smile.

So..I was trying to get a little creative in keeping the kids busy during Spring Break and with my kids home and extra kids..this was kinda fun!
Bear really didn't mind pulling all the kids in the wagon, I think she quite enjoyed herself as did the kids.

We also have had sickness around our house. Reece had pneumonia, and a sinus infection and Leah had an ear infection and a sinus infection. so antibiotic after antibiotic, inhaler, steroids we are now better!
This plant is just amazing me! It is so big and is just keeps growing it is really going to be a lot bigger than last year.
